Location: Midlands, with nationwide travel when required
Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 + Benefits

Our client is seeking an Occupational Health Technician to join their supportive team based in the Midlands. While the role is primarily travelling to sites in the Midlands, frequent travel further afield with prior notice and regular overnight stays will be required. 

Your Responsibilities:

  • Conduct health surveillance assessments, including audiometry and spirometry.

  • Perform skin assessments and Hand Arm Vibration (Tier 1 & 2) screenings.

  • Carry out fitness-for-work medicals 

  • Administer drug & alcohol testing.

  • Perform venepuncture.

  • Provide wellbeing medicals and health promotion.

  • Operate and drive a mobile screening van across the UK & Ireland.


To Apply Applicants are required to have the following:

  • Previous experience in Occupational Health, including health surveillance and fitness-for-work medicals.

  • Willingness to travel extensively and stay overnight (Monday – Friday depending on client requirements).

  • Full UK driving licence.

  • Experience and/or willingness to drive vehicles up to 3.5 tonnes.

  • Competence in IT systems (MS Office and electronic medical records).

  • Ability to work autonomously.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
